From the objectto the experience.

Trained in industrial design, I treat a brand as something people hold, walk through, watch and share, and design every one of those moments as one system.

[ Tension ]

Double weekly reach from 1.9m to 3.8m: keep loyal fans, win casual sports fans and honour the heritage.

[ Idea ]

Stop polishing the sport. A name fans actually say, a wordmark that leans in, the sponsor built into the mark.

[ Result ]

687m social views (+90%) and stadiums at 82% capacity, a league record. Every fixture live on TNT Sports.

[ Role ]

I set the direction and led the team from strategy through identity, motion and rollout.

A02/08 [ ONE NIGHT FOR THE WHOLE GAME ] Brand Potential Benelux · 2025 · Identity and creative assets Brand creation

The Rugby Awards

One night for the whole game.

The Rugby Awards 2025 identity
FIG A02.1The Rugby Awards 2025 identity
The first awards night, live
FIG A02.2The first awards night, live

[ Tension ]

Four bodies (Premiership Rugby, RPA, RFU and PWR) and a brand-new awards night with no visual history.

[ Idea ]

A celebratory identity: a palette taken from the season's moments, graphics that move like the ball.

[ Result ]

A modular system across digital, print and the live event for the first Rugby Awards.

A03/08 [ PROXIMITY IS POWER ] Brand Potential Benelux · 2024–25 · Executive Creative Director · team of 10 Brand creationExperience and retail

Rotterdam The Hague Airport

One line: tower and tail fin
FIG A03.2One line: tower and tail fin
Terminal communications
FIG A03.3Terminal communications
Dichtbij on social
FIG A03.4Dichtbij on social

[ Tension ]

A regional airport competing on a scale it could never win. Its real strength, closeness, was undervalued.

[ Idea ]

Dichtbij: civic pride for Rotterdam and South Holland, and two minutes from door to plane.

[ Craft ]

One continuous line draws the control tower and a tail fin. The system runs from fire trucks to cafes and wayfinding.

[ Role ]

I led 10 people from strategy to a full-airport rollout, aligning government, airlines and residents.

A04/08 [ SOCIAL IMPACT ] HarrimanSteel · 2020–22 · Creative Director · team of about 20 Platforms that last

Everyday Giants

Earners, hand-drawn
FIG A04.2Earners, hand-drawn
Thank-you ads in the press
FIG A04.3Thank-you ads in the press

[ Tension ]

Uber's safety, social and community work was scattered and understated. Self-praise in a pandemic was the risk.

[ Idea ]

Audit everything, unite it in one ecosystem, and tell it through earners and partners, with proof.

[ Result ]

An impact home on uber.com, Everyday Giants, Keys to the City rewards and Noor photojournalism in 11 cities.

[ Role ]

I led about 20 people across strategy, creative, production and external partners.

SUB-PROJECTEveryday Giants. Hero the person, not the platform. A 60-second TVC, five hand-painted murals in four US cities, social and OOH, then UK, France and global phases.

Spectral:ON
FIG A05.1Spectral:ON
Riders first
FIG A05.2Riders first
The Crossing series
FIG A05.3The Crossing series

[ Tension ]

E-MTBs were sold as bikes with a motor, on range and specs. The category had no voice.

[ Idea ]

Power On, Game On: one attitude-led platform for the whole :ON family, told through riders and play.

[ Result ]

Every model sold out in its launch window, the first in 24 hours. Four more launches followed.

[ Role ]

Strategy, creative direction and production, plus The Crossing series.

Seedlip

Curiosity, not compromise.

Serve with tonic
FIG A06.1Serve with tonic
The Seedlip characters
FIG A06.2The Seedlip characters

[ Tension ]

People didn't know what Seedlip was or how to drink it, in a category built on sacrifice.

[ Idea ]

Hello Curious: the Seedlip character takes people on a sensory journey through nature and flavour.

[ Result ]

Films by director Jonathan Jones and assets for every key seasonal moment, for Diageo teams worldwide.

[ Role ]

Strategy and creative direction.

A07/08 [ HAND THEM THE MIC ] HarrimanSteel · Creative Director · Jordan Brand EMEA Platforms that last

FIG A07.1Paris, with the city's partners
Drawn by Parisian illustrators
FIG A07.2Drawn by Parisian illustrators

[ Tension ]

Launch an American brand's education programme in Paris without looking like a corporate saviour.

[ Idea ]

Step the brand back. Three city educational partners and their students tell the story, drawn by three Parisian illustrators.

[ Result ]

A credible platform for Paris's creative youth, and the blueprint for launching Jordan Wings in London.

[ Role ]

Launch toolkit, messaging and content.

A08/08 [ LAUNCH THE RITUAL ] Brand Potential Benelux · Executive Creative Director Experience and retail

The Baco loft
FIG A08.2The Baco loft
Zero Zero: Switch to gold
FIG A08.3Zero Zero: Switch to gold

[ Tension ]

Most FMCG launches are a trade push and a press release: siloed, and not worth sharing.

[ Idea ]

Earned-first launches planted inside cultural moments, with design and PR working from the first brief.

[ Result ]

Coca-Cola Baco at A'DAM Tower, Zero Zero's Switch to gold, and an extended partnership.

[ Role ]

I led the design studio and PR practice as one team.

[ 06 ] HOW I LEAD

How I run a creative department.

01

Systems, then craft

Design the system that scales first, then sweat the details that make it feel real.

02

Hands-on leadership

I lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor the next creative leads and stay in the work.

03

Design and PR together

Plan for earned attention from the first brief, not as an add-on at the end.

04

AI-first workflows

Faster exploration and production, with people making the creative calls.
